Many of the difficulties people encounter are not random. They emerge from patterns that developed across years of adapting to the circumstances, demands, relationships, and constraints of everyday life. Over time, these adaptations shape the trajectories we follow and the possibilities we perceive as available. My role is to help you understand these underlying configurations, strengthen flexibility in how you respond to challenges, and create conditions that support movement toward a more effective and fulfilling direction.
I have spent more than 20 years helping individuals understand the emotional and behavioral processes that shape their lives. My approach combines insight, practical skill development, and direct collaboration to help people move beyond patterns that no longer serve them. I strive to create a warm, accepting, and transparent environment where we can work together to identify obstacles, develop new strategies, and build lasting change.
In addition to directly providing clinical services, I develop courses that are used by the Commonwealth to train clinicians in evidence-based practices for anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health diagnoses. I am passionate about helping others through counseling and educating.
I have lived in Western PA for my entire life. I personally practice the treatment methods that I implement in counseling. Meditation and mindfulness practices are a core component of my life. Additionally, I enjoy woodworking, being active, and camping/hiking with my energetic daughter.
